Visioning a Different Future
We've found over time that rarely will the work of those seriously undertaking the Financial Checklist pay off unless a vision for a different future has been devised. Without taking the time to envision your better future, any level of sacrifice or financial change habits are unlikely to persevere.
Visioning doesn't need to be extensive or difficult, but it is worth putting some dedicated time toward this task. Begin by asking yourself these questions: What would it mean to you if you were completely out of debt? |
|
How would you live your life differently if you were debt free?
What would be your debt free purchase (or reward for hanging in there)?
What are your dreams for your future in retirement?
What are your dreams for how you might be able to help your family and friends financially with your newly earned financial freedom?
Taking time to think through these questions will motivate you to rock the Financial Checklist plan. When we have a clear view of a better, stronger future, our determination will meet our desire and greatly increase our odds for financial success.
Next, let's build on our vision and begin Committing to Change.
