Committing to Change
The old joke is that everyone is okay with commitment until they are the ones having to make the commitment.
The "C" word need not be scary or something to fear. Committing oneself to making serious financial changes is both wise and fruitful. It will also make you very abnormal. You're about to enter the Financial Checklist Zone, a place of great change and financial benefit, but the rest of the world around you might start to wonder about you. But who wants to keep going on with out a financial plan? Who wants to keep missing out on the benefits of the Financial Checklist? |
|
The only person who can make this huge financial change is you. If you're only interested in just trying out the Financial Checklist, then it might be wise not to even start the steps. Trying this out is very different than committing to a different financial future. These steps work when applied with drive and ambition and a willingness to make small and wise sacrifices. They don't work without solid commitment.
So now's the time to take some time and determine if you're really ready to rock the Financial Checklist. If you really are ready then start with a vengeance and begin with Step 1, building your Personal Reserve Fund.
